Kazi Asad Abid ( Sindhi: قاضي اصد عابد or Qazi Asad Abid) is the Chairman/Chief Editor and CEO of The ''Daily Ibrat'' newspaper, Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. He is from the political family, the Kazis of Hyderabad. The former Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Dr Fehmida Mirza is his sister the speaker of the National Assembly

Kazi Asad Abid's services to journalism in Pakistan have been acknowledged time and again both privately and by the Government of Pakistan. On March 23, 2007, the highest civil award in Pakistan, the Sitara-e-Imtiaz was conferred upon him for his service to journalism in Pakistan over the many years of Pakistan's existence. In addition, Kazi Asad has played an active role in politics and other government institutions in Pakistan. He has made frequently trips with the Prime Minister and the President of Pakistan on their foreign tours. He has attended and participated in many meetings and conferences about current affairs in Pakistan and how they affect the global economy and foreign relations.
Kazi Asad Abid is also the only person to have been elected nine times as the Secretary General of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS). In addition, he was a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Pakistan People's Party seat NA 169 from Hyderabad, Sindh.
